Robin and her husband Bernie vacationed in the Appalachian Mountains in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle and stunning views. They knew right away they would retire in the mountains. After searching three states for the perfect piece of land – which they found right here in Murphy – they built their dream home. But why wait for retirement to move? They made the decision to leave their secure, long-term jobs and make the permanent move from southwest Georgia to the beautiful Appalachians. Their only regret is that they didn’t do it a lot sooner.
Robin and Bernie have three daughters and five grandchildren spread out all over Georgia and north Florida. Robin comes to Appalachian Land Company with 30 years of administrative experience, the last twelve of which were as the office manager for a men’s drug and alcohol treatment facility in Leesburg, Georgia.
